About George
George Earle owns and operates GEOTREE Ltd. George has been working in the arboricultural sector for over twenty years. He has a BSc Forestry (1st class Honours) and a Level 4 Dip. Arboriculture. George is in his final year of a BSc Honours in Arboricultural and Urban Forestry.
A professional member of the Society of Irish Foresters, and the Arboricultural Association, he is also a member of Pro Silva Ireland which is an organisation dedicated to working with woodlands in a close to nature way called continuous cover forestry.
As a registered forester with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) George gains access to the Department’s Forestry Service division. Within these portals he can apply for Felling Licenses, Grants, Native Woodland Schemes, Afforestation Grants.
George has had his own tree surgery company, County Tree Care, for the last twenty years, successfully growing it to a business with six employees. He has been producing tree surveys and woodland reports to a professional level for over six years.
George is now concentrating on growing his new company GEOTREE Ltd by providing a professional tree consultancy service to professional clients, landowners, farmers, construction firms, engineering companies and architects that need solid advice based on education, experience and common sense.
